Terms of Service

AthletePortfolio is a product built and operated on the Manus platform. By accessing or using AthletePortfolio, you agree to these Terms of Service as well as the Manus Terms of Service, which govern the underlying platform. In the event of a conflict, the Manus Terms of Service take precedence with respect to platform-level obligations.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AthletePortfolio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accept these terms on your behalf. Continued use of the platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of any updates to these terms.
2. Platform Operator
AthletePortfolio is hosted and operated on infrastructure provided by Manus. Authentication, file storage, and certain platform services are managed by Manus. Your use of this application is subject to Manus's platform policies in addition to these terms. Manus is not responsible for the content, recruiting outcomes, or business decisions made through AthletePortfolio.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information in your portfolio. Misrepresentation of academic or athletic records is grounds for immediate account termination. You must not share your login credentials with others.
4. Subscription and Payments
Subscription fees are billed monthly via Stripe. Monthly fees may be refunded on a pro-rated basis within 7 days of the billing date. Recruiter information request fees are non-refundable once a request has been fulfilled. Refunds for unfulfilled requests are available within 14 days. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., and is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.
5. Content Guidelines
You may not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. All athletic and academic information must be accurate and verifiable. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines or the Manus platform policies without prior notice.
6. Recruiter Use
Recruiters and coaches may view public portfolios without an account. By paying for an information request, recruiters agree to use the obtained information solely for legitimate recruiting purposes and not to share it with unauthorized third parties. Misuse of athlete information may result in account termination and legal action.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload to your portfolio. By uploading content, you grant AthletePortfolio and Manus a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the platform. We do not claim ownership of your personal data or media.
8. Limitation of Liability
AthletePortfolio and Manus are not responsible for recruiting outcomes, admission decisions, or scholarship offers. We provide a platform to connect student-athletes with recruiters but do not guarantee any specific results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Manus platform policies. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Upon cancellation, your portfolio will remain visible until the end of the current billing period, after which it will be deactivated.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Manus operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of the Manus Terms of Service.
